On CardUp, you will have full transparency on the fees and overall amount sent to your overseas supplier.
When you send money to overseas, the Foreign Exchange rates (FX rates) and all applicable fees charged are presented upfront to you during payment setup.
The fees you pay for depends on:
Where you are sending it to
The amount you are sending
The exchange rate
In addition, a card fee from as low as 1.3%* will be charged to unlock all the benefits of your credit card payment such as card rewards and deferring of payments by up to 2 months, interest-free.
There is no hidden fee or hefty intermediary bank charges or commission.
Will there be any additional fees besides the CardUp fee?
No bill shock on any unexpected hidden costs – expect transparent and honest fees!
When setting up your payment, the exact breakdown of fees will be presented upfront.
They are mainly:
Foreign Exchange Rates (FX Rates) – the exchange rates between the currency you are looking to transact – which is one of the lowest in the market
Conversion Fees – this fee includes the costs incurred by us to convert the funds and send your payment overseas
SWIFT Fees - is charged by your card issuing bank ONLY when
you are sending local currency to a bank account outside of the local country e.g. sending USD to a recipient outside of US or
the payments amounts are high for some currencies (ex. Amount greater than 250K USD, 1M HKD, 1M JPY etc )
CardUp Fee – is charged to enable & process your credit card payment and unlock credit card benefits for you
All CardUp transactions (including the fees) are eligible for the base earn rate of most credit cards in the market
