On CardUp, you can create multiple Payment Requests at one go. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to do it.
- Navigate from dashboard: Log in to your account and click on Collect > Payment Requests.
- Payment Requests: Click on + Create Request to display the dropdown menu and select + Multiple Requests to create multiple Payment Requests at one go.
- Download bulk upload template: Click on Download Template to download the bulk upload template. It is recommended that you download this template each time you intend to create multiple Payment Requests. We are constantly enhancing this feature, hence we update this template when necessary.
- Fill in the bulk upload file: Open the bulk upload template file you've downloaded, and fill up all the columns that are present.
- All columns/fields are compulsory to be filled up. Omitting any column or field would result in that entry not generating a Payment Request.
- Do not add or amend any columns or header names. Adding or amending columns or header names would result in the entire uploaded file being rejected by our system.
- Do not exceed 100 entries per bulk upload file. As we have just added this feature, we are currently capping the maximum number of entries per upload to 100. We will review and increase/remove this cap in the coming months.
- For the Credit Card Fee Option and PayNow Fee Option, please indicate either "merchant" or "customer". If the value is "merchant", you will bear the transaction fee. If the value is "customer", your customer will be charged the transaction fee instead.
- For the Invoice No., this can either be the invoice number or any customer reference that your business uses to identify the customer.
- For the Payment Reference, this should be the value that helps with your reconciliation of the payment. This can be the same value as the Invoice No. field.
- Upload bulk upload file: Once you've filled up the bulk upload file, click on Browse Computer to upload the file and click on Continue.
- Finalise your bulk upload: Check the details and click Continue
- Processing bulk upload file: Upon upload, our system will process your file, create your Payment Requests and send them out via email. No action is required from you.
- Email notification: Once all entries within your bulk upload file has been processed and your Payment Requests have been created and sent out via email, we will send you an email notification to inform you of the total number of Payment Requests successfully created and emailed out.
- Download bulk upload report: You can also download a report of your bulk upload file to check which entries had encountered an error and not been able to create a Payment Request for.
