Tenancy Agreement Expiry

My tenancy agreement is expiring. What should I do on CardUp?

If you're extending your current lease:

1. Select ‘Rent’ as the payment type.

2. Choose your existing landlord under ‘My Recipients’.

3. When you reach the ‘Document’ step, upload your new tenancy agreement.

You can then proceed with the rest of the rent payment setup as usual.

If you’ve found a new place and have a new tenancy agreement:

1. Select ‘Rent’ as the payment type.

2. Click ‘Add new landlord’ under ‘My Recipients’.

3. Enter the full details of your new landlord, including:

   • Landlord’s name

   • Bank account number

   • Bank name

   • Any other required information

4. Under the ‘Tenancy Agreement’ section, upload your new tenancy agreement so we can validate the landlord details provided.

Once all the details are submitted and the document is uploaded, you can proceed to complete the rest of the rent payment setup.
