Where can I check on the status of my payment?

You will be kept up to date with the progress of your payment via your CardUp dashboard.

A full breakdown of statuses and what they mean below:



The payment is being reviewed by the CardUp team. It's status will be updated prior to your "Payment Taken" date.

The payment has been setup successfully and will be processed on the indicated 'Payment Taken' date.


The payment has been successfully processed and is being processed to be sent to the recipient on the indicated 'Due Date' .


The payment is on its way to the recipient and will arrive before midnight on the indicated 'Due Date'.


The payment has successfully been received into the bank account of the recipient.


If your card is not able to be charged, the payment status will move to failed. CardUp customer service will notify you on next steps via email and SMS.


The payment has been cancelled and your card will not be charged.
