Can I use promo codes for guest payments?
Promo codes cannot be applied to guest payments. If you are making a payment on a CardUp Collect User's payment page, please note that you will not have the option to use any promo codes.
If you have received a payment request from a company but wish to utilise a promo code, we recommend signing up for a CardUp account. By doing so, you can set up your payment directly from your CardUp account. However, please ensure that you communicate with your recipient to confirm that they are comfortable with this arrangement, as making a payment through your CardUp account may complicate their reconciliation process.
What’s next after signing up?
Once you have successfully created your CardUp account, it’s time to make your payment using your promo code. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
1. Access Your Dashboard: Log in to your CardUp account and click on 'Create Payment.'
2. Select Payment Type: Choose the appropriate payment type that suits your needs.
3. Enter Recipient Information: Fill in the necessary details for the recipient.
4.Input Payment Information: Complete the payment details and be sure to enter your promo code at the designated field.
5.Review and Schedule: Finally, review all the information provided and schedule your payment, and remember to click the 'Confirm Payment Setup' button.
After making your payment, you may want to inform the company that you have completed the transaction via your CardUp account. Additionally, let them know that the original payment request they sent to you can be canceled.
